Michele Ferrazzano – digital forensics consultant  – is a partner in BIT4LAW.

Education and Training

  • 2014: Research doctorate in IT Law and Legal Informatics, CIRSFID – University of Bologna
  • 2010: Master’s Degree (with distinction) in Computer Science, University of Bologna, dissertation on computer forensics
  • 2007: Degree (with distinction) in Computer Science, University of Bologna, dissertation on computer forensics

Professional activity

  • Since 2017: entered in the register of experts of the Chamber of Commerce of Bologna, for IT, computer forensics, cyber law and cyber security (no. 1206);
  • Since 2015: partner at BIT4LAW S.r.l., a digital forensics company which offers services to the private sector and to judicial authorities
  • Since 2007: ex-parte consultant and expert witness in legal issues involving computer forensics; lecturer on training courses in computer forensics for legal experts, IT professionals and private companies; he has been involved in numerous criminal cases of national importance, as well as civil disputes, some between multinational companies.

  • Since 2018: contract lecturer in “Computer science” at the School of Law, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
  • Since 2017: contract lecturer in “Computer forensics” at the Department of Computer Science, University of Milan (Crema campus)
